The "Valuing Early Stage Companies" video series consists of seven videos, each about six minutes in length, that focus primarily on the differences between the venture capital (VC) method of valuation and the net present value (NPV) method of valuation. In addition, this introduction presents an overview of the role that VC firms can play in providing capital to early stage firms, and an explanation of why it is difficult to value an early stage company.
